Jean Grae is by far the most talented lyricist and female emcee. People just don't know much about here ash she's underground but she pisses all over the Lil' Kim's and Foxy Browns of the world. They can't even write their own lyrics never mind rap so how the fuck are they meant to be the best?

After Jean Grae the best are probably those from the 80s/90s era such as Lady Of Rage, Roxanne Shante and MC Lyte.

On another note, just to throw out a name not said yet I always thought Ms. jade of Timbaland fame was a decent female emcee, shame she only got one album.

yeah I've got all herbaliser's shit. great producer/dj. Jean Grae ripped hit.
