yep, I do. I expected the album to be nice, because Apathy and Ryu are doing their thing with their own projects, but the result was above my expectations

Yeah, I didn't have any expectations on the album. Bishop Lamont linked I Don't Care via Twitter so I checked them out. I'm surprised. It's a smooth listen with dope rhymes and funky beats from Scoop Deville. The beats have a nice balance of pop with disco, and g-funk. Both MC's have flows that are on point and nice vocals. It's playful, fun, yet serious at the right points. I'm digging it quite a bit.

I'm surprised they're not bigger or on the radio. They could easily get played without issues.

Random notes:

It's like west coast down south music. Scoop takes elements of southern music and does it west coast style on the beats. Nice scratches.

Both MC's have fun while bringing up relevant issues.

I can definitely see this type of music being the transition for the mainstream to ride with the west coast again.

I love the homage to Will Smith.

Don't be sleeping on GBC. It's got one of the hottest producers in the game doing production and rapping. Two dope mc's (ryu & apathy) on the mics. They're having fun and breaking down their own artistic barriers.

one of the best (top 5) albums to drop last year imho

demigodz are fucking dope and seriously underrated. apathy and ryu can flow their asses off. new demigodz album dropping 2010, aotp dropping in 2010

pretty good, production was crisp throughout but a lot of the musical direction was kinda strange to me. some of it was up my street but i like electronic sounding music to be real groovy
