Why should I bother explaining?
You won't understand anyway
Why waste my fucking time
Why waste my fucking breath
Why waste this fucking heart
Why does it keep beating in my fucking chest
Why this wasteful life
Why not just a meaningful death

I really want to believe you can understand
the words coming out of my mouth
Because your the only people I see
When I turn my head round and round

So I really wish ya'll felt me and such
I really wish I wasn't so out of touch

To give rise and run to the murmuring sea
To touch the body of our inner-most thought
To hear in sound and words what we once
only knew in the case of our skull
Why do we lose touch when we get old
I'm only 27 but damn now I see...
What was up with the older folks in my city
Why they walked so dead
and were so void of life
Something about growing older we lose the vision
We lose the hope
We just grow old and mind turns dull
Blunted on Reality
and not the Ganga sack...
I mean, straight blunt, straight sober
Straight.. dulled... straight stuck
Cause one day it seems we all just lose touch
Lose touch with what we were
with what we believed
and our every last belief ends up deceived
