I did a cut with Free when I was touring with Quik..

he has it though.

I definitely welcome that collab..
I still need to call Free to give him props on this cut.

i´m a huge quik fan, but i think the beat isnt THAT great, its a cool beat but nothing amazing imo

like the synths which come in at 1:00 dont fit really with the rest of the beat

i'm waiting patiently for when quik tops the classic production on blaqkout like 'hey playa' 'fuck y'all' 'cream n ya panties' and 'the appeal'. we are gonna be in for a TREAT 8)

& with adding "Do You Know" onto that, you've just listed the only good tracks from that horrible, experimental cock-up of an album called Blaqkout

I agree with King

To me with this beat Quik is back in full effect... "if you stay ready, you ain't got to get ready", that fonky guitar kills me, there's a mellow G-Funk synth in the back and then it comes an ElectroPop one... that was a surprise, he's trying to mix his old style with what's hot right now, in the past it didn't work at all (Fixxers), let's see what's happens this time.

You should. I enjoyed the album although it felt a little empty by the end. Like it needed 1 or 2 more quality tracks at the end instead of the remix and the skit.
