As The Red Tapes go, the one that's been floating around for the past few years isn't the Red Tape. It was just a promo CD for Quik Is The Name. Kinda like what the Trauma Mixtape was to Trauma.

No this is not his first one. Before changing his name to DJ Quik he went by the name of Mixmaster Quik. He did some work for Rhyme Syndicate Records in the 80's. I actually have a cd single by an artists named Bang O produced by Mixmaster Quik (DJ Quik).
