Scorekeeping In Baseball
« on: April 28, 2010, 09:06:01 AM »
Is it just me or have you noticed they everything a hit nowadays, nothing is an error even if it's hit right at a guy.  I've noticed it a lot this season and last night Vernon Wells hits bouncer right at Adrian Beltre, he double clutched the throw and threw it wide of the bag, they gave Wells a hit, I wish I had the video.  Even now that I know they call everything a hit I was shocked at that one.

In my mind if a player has a lot of errors he must really suck at defensive and have cement hands or an inaccurate arm because they call everything a hit.
