Well, I can respect your opinion.  but let me explain alil about the record industry.
These new artist that BWS have decided to back are artist that obviously have their buzz up!  It is one thing to be the man in your town, and have home court buzz, but when an artist takes it to the next level, and has a buzz that is Nationwide, and even international, thats when labels really take notice.  Alot of the pre-BWS fits in this category.  They got their buzz up at home, but failed to get support nationwide (down south, east coast, mid west, west) and even overseas like the UK ect.  So its almost ignorant to knock the artist who are able to get that support.  For instance, some of the pre-BWS guys minus Juice Clyde and Cyssero, I have never heard of.  Meaning their buzz never made it to the UK or other places, hence the situation.

But I am a firm believer to each their own.  I just feel that Hip Hop is for all generations.  The older generations are stuck on their Snoop Dogg & Ice cube years, I can understand that.  But understand that them guys were on top of the game more than 13 years ago...meaning, put it like this....If you were born in the years when Hip Hop took off, mid - late 80s, you know Disco was going out, if not considered wack.  WHY?  because it was out-dated, the whole sound was out-dated, lyrics never die, so people respect the bars, but the sound is just so out-dated that the new generation can\'t relate.  So try to understand people, just something to think on.

But they buzz is up, Fact.  So research it for awhile, do what you do, and get back at me after you\\\'ve been enlightened.
and when i say buzz i mean, these artist are getting money outside of home.  Doing shows, on mixtapes all over the world, from DJs all over the world, they collab on other peoples songs (not just west coast rappers), they get acknowleged.  They got rappers from other areas shouting them out.  The streets all over know or heard of them & fuck with them, They travel, get on tours, get media coverage, ect.
and other words, they are not just living off their home plate.

quick brief.
The guys they(bws) are signing NOW, are on their grind currently, they buzzes are rising.  They do shows all across the country, and are on the industries radar.

Now they guys who were signed before, some are big now, thanks to the affiliation, but while they were on the label, they were very comfortable with their west coast success, and didn\\\'t push it to the next level.
