Yo yo yo! Yall know that Rick James is one baaaaaaad motha fucka!!! Ya know he one of the most sampled artists of all time? My favorite track that samples him is 'The Essence' by AZ feat. Nas.

ricc james was a cold muscian,but be honest if he came out in todays times with album covers like "fire it up" "street songs" "throwing down" people would be calling him a faggot and wouldn't even listen to his music especially on here keep it networth yell

think i prefer all the original jams as opposed to any of the sampling on Rick James. having said that, 'Hard To Get Revisited' feat. Richie Rich produced by da Quiksta is a great modern retwist on that particular Rick James record 8)
