After months of DJ Quik being active, the nigga has completely disappeared. From the last couple months of 2013 through the beginning of February 2014, he was actively promoting tours, dropping videos, releasing a song here and there, performing on Arsenio, doing interviews, dissing his old homies, and posting a GANG of shit on Twitter. Now the nigga is ghost. The internet ain't the same without him.

Anyone know what's going on in Quik's life? Is he at work recording his next solo album or maybe the Kurupt collaboration? Or did he catch a case or some shit like that?

Last I heard, he's working on a new album. With any luck, that's the reason why things have been so quiet.

Seems like there is a new collab album with Suga Free AND a new solo album in the works. Apparently winning the reward for best LA hip hop producer last year gave him some energy.

quik's been in the studio (nothing to be surprised about there). he posted some pics on instagram of him putting some laffy taffy on the mixing board sliders. and he was eating oysters with flesh-n-bone recently when tmz caught up with him and asked him about chem trails. quik stay doing dope shyt. it's just not always readily accessable. oh, and he said he was taking some time off from twitter.
