Only Justice League track I heard was "Maybach Music III" and I must say with all the hype, very disappointing.  Nothing memorable or special about it at all.  I guess it is smooth but that beat was forgettable for sho.  I don't really see that meshing with anything Dre has done recently.  Not even on the same level.

You looking for that smooth/classy feel check out "About Me" or "Catalyna" on Raekwon's last album.  That shit has it.

What's funny is those two were the least interesting productions on the Raekwon abum. The production on Maybach Music III shit on that.

I'll have to check that Maybach track again but originally it did nothing for me.  "Interesting" is pretty subjective, even more so than if a song is "good" or "bad."  The reason they stood out, or being interesting/uninteresting, is because they were the most chill west coast tracks on that album.  The production was completely different than every other cut on that album.  Everything else had that raw scratchy wu feel.  Those cuts didn't, they were nice and polished by the doctor.

They were simple and boring. Very basic piano loops that sound like they took Dre 10 minutes to put together. They stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest of the album. And the loops weren't even catchy enough to make up for it's repetitiveness.

Now compare that to this:

Really there's no comparison. And as far as chill goes, this song sounds way more chill.

agree 100% with this...Catalina and About Me were boring as shit, and OBFCL2 couldve done without them, id guess they were only kept in there cos it was Dre production

Because he doesn't live in reality, he lives in some alternate universe in the music he listens to. He wants to live the life he hears people rap about so bad.

Like when The Chronic dropped, he was the one walking around claiming to be the biggest pothead around.

Jeezy made his street music & magically Radiotube became the hardest street cat in the world, reppin' the streets all day everyday.

Pimp music comes on & suddenly he's more pimp than Snoop in the 90's, controlling all the bitches in DC.

Swag music comes on & he's the flyest muhhhhfukkkkka there ever was.

So he heard this ILL Mafiaso instrumental & now he looks in the mirror making imaginary cocaine deals with himself, probably calls his sister into the room & has little "meetings" with her.

So naturally now that he thinks he's Tony Montana because he listens to the music, he loves this song lol.

He probably thinks he ranks amongst the greatest black people of all time.

1. MLK
2. Tupac
3. Radiotube
4. Malcomn X
