Joe Budden's favorite artist ever is Eminem; I don't want to say he "jacked his style", because he didn't; but, Joe makes reference to drugs.

Joe is just a deep artist. Naturally when you're being excessively personal, like Pac & Em, you're going to come off as a bit emo.

Not to mention, people bitch day in & day out how rappers are really living the lives they spit about, yet when Joe Budden acts "emo" on a record, you automatically believe that's the case?
