Avoiding the self-aggrandizing imagery employed by many MCs, Clipse’s tales of drugs and money swirl with paranoia, guilt, and shame, offering a perspective that takes ALL of street life’s gritty realities into account. With his forthcoming memoir, Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked, Clipse’s Malice expands on the imagery of his albums, sharing his own story of life in the drug game — a lifestyle he doesn’t necessarily want others to emulate. Along the way, he expounds on his experience in the music industry and his new-found sense of spirituality.

Malice has produced a number of original videos over the past year, all as part of his mission to challenge young adults to think and act independently. His book, which comes out later this year, is an extension of that idea. In anticipation of its release, MMN is proud to premiere an exclusive, powerful video excerpt from the book, featuring narration and acting by Malice and his entourage.
