"Forgot About Dre" is a classic, the leaked version of "I Need A Doc" was mad weak. I hope the final version sounds different and Dre will have atleast two verses.

I agree most people hold it as being a classic (not to me) but Forgot About Dre was annoying as fuck.  That plucking sound + Eminem ranting = irritating.  Sounded like it could be a sequel to My Name Is.  I always skip that track when I listen to 2001.

I will give the final version a chance, maybe they reworked the track due to the feedback

i think you might be right. i'm starting to rethink the assumption that the final will be exactly or even very similar to what we already heard. based on where the leak came from, dre is barely on the track, etc. will have to see, but i can't see myself digging it at all. more to do with the vibe than the beat getting upgraded or whatever. but didn't alex da kid say something like 'thanks for believing in my version'...presumably dre had/has different versions of the beat, beside any different vocals.

i didn't think it would happen, but the beat sounds different to me now than it did when it first leaked.
so i guess i'll cut out the hook from the final version
