I'm not a total battlecat expert but I can usually call out a battlecat beat when I hear one. this (note l.o.c.s) doesn't sound like battlecat to me

Haha i think i have to step back here. Maybe you guys are right. The guitar actually doesnt sound BC at all. But what you said about Battlecat always uses tons of sound, that aint true. I know what you mean but he often keeps it very simple too. Nite Locs is actually kind of similar to Mr Short Khop - Dollaz, Drank & Dank . Also, both of these tracks has the same snare/clap.
However, i never meant that BC did Nite Locs on his own, but maybe he did have something to with it. You people seem to know more about Quaze than i do. What about this track:
Snoop Dogg - With Your Girl Featuring Butch Cassidy
To me thats a obvious  Battlecat beat, but i read somewhere that Quaze made this.

Snoop Dogg - God bless feat. E White & Soopafly (Aka Dogghouse America)
What about this, Dubcnn Vault says its Battlecat, but im not so sure. Discogs says Meech Wells i think.

i tagged "with your girl" as a Quazadelic-production, my bad.
Quaze had a Snoop/butch-track credited on ASCAP, and i thought it was this one.
but its another unreleased track called "Ride wit me"..

I've been a Battlecat fan ever since I heard G'd Up by The Eastsidaz. I've been searching for tracks all over but don't seem to find any new tracks that I haven't heard, but some homies here upload em and help me add to my collection. I see Pungsnoop is a crazy follower of Battlecat, BC and Quik are my all time favorites. I have BC tracks but I know I'm missing a lot of funky smooth shit!!! I would greatly appreciate if any of you BC heads can upload some shit for the real fans. Sometimes I go to Youtube just to hear some BC productions that I've never actually heard. For example Still Smashin'. I wish this guy would actually put out an album. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
