Nate Dogg - G Funk Classics re-release
« on: March 04, 2011, 06:55:32 AM »
Anyone in this forum bought this? Any additional info? I have the original Vol. 1 & 2 but Thump re-release this. Is this a remaster? Any info, extra pics on the booklets? That would be nice. Thanx in advance.

Yes it is a reissue but they separate both discs individually, instead of the original version, single cd case, double cd. I want to know if someone copped this and share some info about it. Thanx!

I found this at Amoeba last weekend. It's 1 case, double cd version. It's a reissue. Didn't cop it cause I didn't feel like spending $19. But it's out there.

Is the booklet the same as the first pressing of this album, with the lyrics and everything? What i see at the pictures is a double jewel case with some cardboard protecting them. Do you have some pics? Appreciate!

I didn't buy it. If I go back I might cop it. I did buy a few months ago was the single cd's. that one wasn't much of a booklet. more like a single page front cover, the credits and titles on the inside and whatever was on the back. I'm pretty sure the double disc version has a booklet. But like one guy said above me if it's true. If the money is going straight to nate dogg, then i'll be purchasing it no matter of a booklet.

Yeah me too. I really hope the money goes for Nate. I was curious anyway about some extra pics, some random shit, remastered sound but the music itself is beautiful. G-Funk 4 Life! Keep your head up Nate!

Re-Issue...Great CD...I paid $40 for it in Canada because it was only available on import....Worth it though.

The album splitted into two jewel cases, red and blue cd cover, no remastered sound, 15 pages booklet with the lyrics, only a single picture of Nate Dogg. Nice reissue nonetheless.

This album has always been a mystery to me. I wanted to buy it off cdnow back in the day but they sold out. Next time I found it it was on amazon for like $56 - no thank you

Then I read about the album originally being 2 seperate albums recorded for Death Row released as a double disc. Can someone explain?
