I sleep wit sheets gripped tight as the darkness strolls
Creatures appear under my bed forms of goblins n trolls
The power they hold taunt my mind and weaken my soul
Stressin grey hairs to my head they make me look old
Story unfolds awake at the crack of dawn, loudly screamin
Fiendin for answers to these nightmares that i've been dreamin
Mental states of matter shatter could that be the meanin
Or is it true i'm destined to witness the grim reeper reepin
Answers slowly seepin i look deepin see puzzle's piecin
Together to make shit better find a true cause and reason
My breathin starts wheezin not really knowin what's wrong
Stopped breathin for so long i felt like my lungs had got torn
Perminity scorn these nightmares rip apart my health slowly
Showin me that they have complete n utter control of me
Shook in horror i sit alone wit' the pillow gripped tight
Swingin at shadows like it was fist fight but on this night
Demons came from the mist right lockin wrists tight
Overcast of shadows linger behind 'em I vision a brisk fright
Goblins and gools, taunt both the wisemen and fools
They think horror is cool i wake up to it in slober and drool
Coverin my bed like a pool i soak in horrific dreams
Drown my mind in nightmares insanity is what i pleed
Since i was a seed, these devious deads centered my life
Bended what's right now my mind accepting the fright
Nightmares blend in the night approach in patterns of mazes
Scared to sleep at night but I'm afraid I'll wake to their faces
My heart races sleep wit one eye open to see 'em approachin
Feelin too settle open both eyes, coast the room for motions
Notice the closet's open i see evil eye in the darkness
I sit scared and alone these bad dreams have left me heartless
Now i depart this wit hopes of dreams on better days
And I pray hard someday for these nightmares to go away
