I agree no one owes anybody anything.   Fans don't owe respect to artists, and artist don't owe respect to fans.  While the ideal relationship is one of respect, it doesn't matter if you like or don't like the artist and it doesn't matter if they care about their fans.  So, if a listener wants to bitch about the quality of music they can.  They don't owe shit to him.  They don't have to be polite and just move on if they don't want to.  Now, I'm defending these people bitching about Dr. Dre & G-Funk which I never cared about.   Let Dr. Dre do what he wants and people of Aftermath shouldn't be surprised when listeners shit on music they don't like or advocate the leaking of tracks for an album 10+ years in the making.

I agree with that. The observation I see though is that people put all their hopes and dreams into this shit and then they turn all emotional because the music ain't what they want. This to me is some precise "Stan" shit. Two verses of hardcore groupie shit then the most volatile hate because their favorite artist doesn't reciprocate and hand them what they want on a silver platter. People are free to have opinions and shit on whoever they want. That's what a forum is. However, the whole extra mile move of feeling slighted because you are a "loyal fan" thing makes me laugh. I'm not trying to stop anyone from feeling that way, just like nobody is going to stop me from thinking people who do that are cornballs. It's like these old people who raise a stink at Wal-Mart when things don't go their way in the check-out line. "I've been shopping here for 15 years." Congratulations. You shop at a retail chain that likely has the lowest prices in the area. Your purchasing decisions are no doubt driven by a loyalty to a corporation that is crushing smaller mom & pop operations in the area and not to the fact that it is cheaper and more convienent to shop there. It ain't that different with music. You want to listen to mainstream artists on major labels, download their albums, and then act all shocked and enitled when they switch up and start making music to people ten years younger than you who will actually buy it.
