You 2 are just jealous that your teams got knocked out in the first round. ;D

I can't be mad. We beat the best team in basketball once & played them tight the rest of the way. I'm proud of my boys. 8)

NIK has Kobe ever been even a little responsible for a loss? Has he ever done anything wrong in your eyes? When lakers win, it's all him to you, and when the lose it's everyone else.  And I never said Kobe doesn't hit big shots, I just said he misses more than anyone else, and in the last two playoff years he's been off.

Whatever, lakers gonna destroy Mavs tonight, they won't need heroics at the end of the game

of course kobe has been responsible in the past...but not in a game where he was the only player on the team who was playing good, no. simply bad game to pick on kobe on your behalf, douche. when ur team relies on u in the clucth every time down, ur gunna miss clutch shots... better than being scared to take those shots in the first place, like some players........

lol, now the rules change because Kobe missed one.

Considering it's "desperation", I guess all of Kobe's game winning buzzer beaters don't count for him being clutch. It's just pure luck at that point, in such a "desperate" situation.

A Hail Mary = Desperation
A 3/4 court heave = Desperation
Annnndd....a good look from three by Kobe Bryant = Desperation (wow...)

those are miracle shots...a little different....were lakers not in a desperate situation? down 2 with 3 secs on the clock.............LOL

...lol, explain me a situation where that shot isn't "desperate"..

A tie game? That's about it. He isn't taking a three with 5 left if he's winning & it wouldn't matter if he's losing by more than three..

You make no sense. :sshh:

When they refer to a desperation three, they are talking about a shot that has VERY little chance of going in. Do you think Kobe didn't have a good chance of making that good look from three??

I'm not sure how a back to back champions can be THAT scared on the floor ... they're were just pissing in their pants during the 2nd half

Where do I start ? :

-Well the Lakers have many problems right now but the biggest is Pau Gasol : he averaged a combined 19pts 11 rbs on 56% from the floor  during our 2 championship runs in the postseason , this year 13.6 pts and 7.8rbs on 43% shooting.

The guy is playing like a pussy on both ends of the floor , doesn't want any responsability down the stretch .... rumor is he's playing like crap for some months now because his girlfriend dumped him ... LMFAO .. if that's true he should kill himself .. I know he was the reason we went to the Finals 3 years in a row ... but he can't get away with this type of play for months , it's just not one game

- Bench play : has gone worse each year since 07-08 .. Blake and Brown are so bad , they make you wish to have Vujacic and Farmar back
Blake is afraid to shoot and when he does it's a brick , he had the worst game from any player I've seen for a while and Brown is a bad shot/TO/missing defensive coverage to happen

- LO was great all year long , he has been very inconsistent in these playoffs

- first two games are another confirmation Phil is a bad  in game  ( or during gam) coach

We'll see what happens in Game 3 , obviously a do or die game

and you got to give credit to the Mavs , they have a solid gameplan on both ends of the floor and greatly execute it .. Dirk is just killing us

As for the Lakers, if we lose this series , it's time to trade for Dwight to keep this team as contenders for additional years with the young teams becoming serious threats ( OKC and Chicago plus the Heat)

deer in the headlights comes to mind when describing the lakers in the 2nd half

fisher needs to be moved to the bench and have someone else starting at his spot. obviously blake isn't gonna cut it, they need to find a decent starting point guard who can keep up with the younger guards on defense. it seems like a lot of the time he was just chasing his man rather than keeping in front of him

interesting read; http://bleacherreport.com/articles/691418-lakers-lose-to-the-mavs-again-what-in-the-world-is-wrong-with-the-world-champs

- Kobe has scored 59 points in the first two games, but he has taken 49 shots to get those points.
- Pau Gasol is scoring almost five points below his season average (18.8).
- In two games, the Lakers have shot a frigid 18 percent (7-for-39) from three-point range.
