You Dodger Fans Are So Lucky
« on: May 19, 2011, 07:11:44 PM »
I'm watching the Giants/Dodgers game, (my dumbass bet the Giants again) and just love watching these Dodgers broadcasts, Vin Scully is THE MAN.  It's soooo painful listening to Jays' games with idiotic Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler, it's what the "mute" button is made for.  You guys are blessed with him.
Vin Scully puts everyone to shame, hes' the best.

Dodgers fans will know better but I think he semi-retired.  Something like he only does Dodgers home games and some road games in California.

It all depends on Vin.  His contract was over after 2010, so people thought that it was his last year in 2010.  He signed a year deal I believe, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be like that.

he's the only thing good about the Dodgers

for real though, props to other people other than in L.A. who recognize the greatness

it's gonna be sad when he dies, he always reminds me of summer ball when I was a little kid, even teenager  :'(

when he's gone, that's the end of any great broadcasters left
