That's my point. $400 million is way more than enough to keep a nobody happy for the rest of their lives. That money would keep my own family, and all of my relatives on both sides happy for the rest of their lives too.

I understand from a working class family, that the wife sacrifices a career, or further education by raising kids whilst the husband works, or pursues the career, but we're usually talking about basic upkeep of rent, child maintenance and suitable living allowances. $400 mil, and many millions there on out is just a joke

The vast majority of people aren't millionaires. You really gonna complain about a law that makes sense for 99% of us and that the other 1% could easily avoid by getting a prenup? Personally I could care less that a dude with 800 million only gets to keep half of it because of his own stupidity.
