Death Row released its first record 19 years ago. As storied as the company is we still don't know all the inside details to what went on around there. We'll never truely get over death row and really who says we have to?

we still have no idea what is left in those vaults....Wideawake said in early 2009 that they had multiple Dre solo's with 2 vereses that he just never finished a 3rd verse to but they  can never release it without his permission which he obviously hasn't gave them yet.  then just imagine all the Pac we're yet to hear.

death row has enough classic unheard material to stay relevant for years if they weren't ran by a bunch of dumbass canucks.

look at groups like the Doors for example, they were together 5 whole years and are still played on radio stations every day.  that's just one BAND, Death row was a whole label.

LMAO @ greatest culture in history being death row in 1996.

Shakespeare has nothing on hit em up!

Do you actually believe the retarded shit you write?

If so please gps your mouth to the nearest gun

No.

First of all I said "greatest American culture" was hip-hop.  Not that hip-hop was the greatest culture ever, anywhere in history (although you could make a case that it is, and maybe it is, but that's another subject).  Nor did I say that Death Row was the greatest American culture.  I just said that Pac was the embodiment of hip-hop culture and the element of rap reaching it's peek in the summer of 1996, and Death Row helped catapult Pac to the top.

Secondly, Shakespeare doesn't have shit on Hit Um Up.   Shakespeare tried to write all these stories of love, death, betrayal, corruption.... shit... Pac was an embodiment of all the shit Shakespeare could only write about.

Are we really comparing a playwright from the 17th century to a rapper from 1996?

Apparently you can't read. Infinite said Shakespeare told tales of homo love, betrayal etc then wrote 2pac was an embodiment of what shakespeare wrote

Ahhh.. of course... now all you monkeys are going to come in and defend Shakespeare over 2pac, as if you've been spending your days reading Shakespeare novels rather than bumping 2pac's music for most your lives.  That's called social proof and herd mentality when you monkeys defend something you don't really like just to fit in.

Once you monkeys learn who you are as people (which will never happen) you can stop being sheep in a herd and starting living lives of greater meaning and substance.

And there's the rub.

The fact you would actually put 2pacs effect on culture above Shakespeare is not only mind boggingly stupid but always exposes the fact that you clearly don't know the difference between your own personal opinions and  reality.
