Who is the Most OVERRATED West Coast Artist

Nipsey? I can honestly say, I don't think I've ever been seriously impressed with one song this guy has ever made. Yet, people act like he was next in line to take control of the West. He's got an average flow with below average, nothing special lyrics & it just makes for a total disappointment for somebody who was supposedly going to be really good.

Very good flow to me with decent rapping skills BUT the versatility of his music, the product, the entertaining element is much stronger than with most Crooked or Kendrick shit. (And Crooked's still my favorite rapper.)

Going back to Aftermath was the stupidest thing he could of done.

I've still yet to see any confirmation of this actually being true. I heard he was back on Interscope, we see that he's back fucking with Dre, but I haven't seen anything official to validate the claim that he's Aftermath again. He may be fucking with the label but I'm not sure he's actually back on the roster.

All I'm saying is, he's being treated like a member to that label. His music is clearly leaning towards a more pop sounding Hip Hop. He's pulling a Dre/50 Cent, trying to find a hot single to catch the radio. If he was just doing his own thing, we'd probably already have R.E.D. by now.

I Agree with a couple of yall, But honestly Crooked I and Kendrick Lamar are both dope aritst in the past and currently.  No love and support here on the West Period!  Were holding ourselves back here.  Everyone still wants to come to Cali Shit aint changed, but its fucked up we dont support our own names..

It's easily Game & Nipsey.

Crooked I isn't overrated because he's obviously one of the dopest spitters on the West. He may not have the albums, but he has the material that proves that.

Kendrick just dropped a great album & people are showing it love due to how good it was.

Lil' B is an awful choice because nobody thinks he's good. He dropped an album that was better than expected. Didn't make it a "great album" & nobody is talking about him like he's going to make any sort of impact.

Game? He's considered by some, one of the better rappers we have in Hip Hop. He had a single "White Soft Porn" that you guys treated like porn before it came out & it was average as fuck. He's supposedly the "savior" of the West & his new album is shaping up for disaster because he wants to sell with the big boys. Going back to Aftermath was the stupidest thing he could of done.
