Yeah, apparently Bambu was from there.  I never knew for sure but assumed that he was, but Chuck Knoxxx mentioned that Bambu throws up their sign in his "Fish" video which was released just a couple of weeks ago.

Ironic how far east countries are considered to be the definitions of Asian. The first people to be called Asians were probably indians or middle easterns cause geographically they're way closer to Europe.

There's race and then there's ethnicity. Which are you talking about? I've seen brown-skinned filipino and yellow-skinned filipino. I'm pretty sure the thread-starter is talking about race or they wouldn't be asking for "west coast" rappers.
