is B Real considered Chicano?

This type of thread comes up about 1-3 times a year. I personally hate the term Chicano rap because there is always alot of dope MC's that get thrown in these kind of lists. For example Sick Jacken to me is a MC, B-Real: MC, Sinful- MC, I could really care less if they are Chicano or not. Most of the time when people say Chicano rap it's more of the gangsta rap stuff, which I can only listen to so much of.

It usually becomes a Hi-Power/Gangsta Rap filled list until Chuck and a few others come in and contribute some dope shit lol.
Jerry Heller was trying to pump up Chicano rap a while back, saying it was the next big thing.
