Demetrius Shipp had been around for years...he produced for Bobby Brown and Troop, he was on the Juice soundtrack......i even think he was in Troop at one point...
One of my favourite instrumentals of all time is:Just Lyke DaddyThe beat is incredible. Great use of the guitar on that. Doesn't sound like your every day generic rap beat, and is unique. No looped trash, Very under-rated. Another good one is Krazy. Kind of agree with Hail mary. I have never seen the facination with this song among 2Pac fans??? It's a good song, but over-rated IMO
people will say anything to make 2pac more "mysterious"7 day theory is great though and im not a particularly big 2pac fan.

Pretty much sums it up. I think it was more Pac wanting some beats rather than him giving these "unknown" producers the chance of a lifetime. It was after Pac started working with them that the other artists on the label complained to Suge because Pac was with them all the time recording.

I like it don't get me wrong, just feel that it isn't on the level that it's pumped up (by fans and critics) to be (like Temptations)I wonder if it has anything to do with the way 2Pac is trying to moan out and sing in the hooks of both songs???
