Mavs got beat twice in a row on clutch shots by the inbounder ... you would expect better from an experienced team

Can Mo Williams stop flopping all over the place though ? CP3, Williams , Griffin ... it's Flop city not Lob city

Thunder sign All-Star Westbrook to multiyear extension

Posted Jan 19 2012 1:47PM

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook to a multiyear contract extension.

Westbrook was set to become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, meaning the Thunder would have had to match any offer he received from another team. Instead, they locked him up Thursday with a new deal. Terms were not disclosed.

Oklahoma City has the best record in the Western Conference, with Westbrook averaging 20.5 points, 5.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds. He was chosen as an All-Star for the first time last season.

Probably a max contract... otherwise he wouldn't have signed silently like that.

Would you trade Blake Griffin for Dwight Howard straight up if you're the Magic or the Clippers? I think I'd make the move either way...
as for Jordan go big and play them both or use Jordan as a back up. Not bad either way. Good problem to have!

LOL @ DeAndre Jordan's decision making. Don't leave the JET! #206

the worst was watching Mo BEG for someone to help. Smh

Mr Big Shot!!!!!!!!! He don't have that name for nothin!!!!!!!!

$25 if you had "lob to Mahimi" for the last play. Really Rick Carlisle? Did he let Del Negro draw that up?

LeBron showing great swagger after that pass to Battier. Lmao@Kobe defending him like last possession in Game 7 of the Finals, then he does that crazy pass and walks away with more swagger than Slick Rick.

The Lakers need a real point guard. Fisher has a knack for hitting huge shots, no doubt, but as an everyday starting point guard he's just not good. It was one thing having him in the triangle, but in Mike Brown's unstructured offense there's not really a whole lot he can do. Lakers really got screwed by that CP3 trade, not only did they not get Paul, but they lost LO, making Artest their sixth man who hasn't been good on offense since he came to LA. This post isn't even as much about this game as it is the the beginning/rest of the season.

^That's part of why he played over 40 minutes in a game that was clearly going to be a loss: just to make some statement plays and better his stats lol. Good luck against Orlando..
