My remix of K'naan feat Nas "Nothing To Lose"
« on: February 24, 2012, 01:56:19 AM »
Just did a remix of K'naan feat Nas "Nothing To Lose" for the K'naan remix contest. Couldn't resist the opportunity to remix something with Nas on it. I ditched the lame pop chorus completely and just have them rhyming constantly over my beat:

That's pretty damn dope. I like it.

The whole beat and mixing of the vocals sounds like you were actually there with them making the track. Props.

Don't take it personal, I just think most people ignore the sub-forums and especially Elements because they think all the beats made here suck but it's not so.

Thanks. Appreciate it. Despite being a hip-hop fan I don't normally produce hip-hop - I produce electronic pop and dance. But I was quite proud of that beat and wanted to know if any fellow hip-hop heads out there liked it as well.
