I agree.  Kendricks is kinda boring and the skits are excessive.  I don't want to go back to the stereo and hit skip everytime that shit comes on.  If I wanna watch a movie, I'll watch a movie.

Bought napalm today. First xzibit album iever bought/listened to. I must say I was pleased. I plan on buying Kendrick on Tuesday too. I expect a completely different sound. But both to be worth the cash.

I bought both. I gotta say Xzibit's is a good collection of songs but Kendrick Lamar's is a great whole album. Meaning Napalm sounds lime a bunch of dope songs grouped together on a CD but Good Kid M.A.A.D City is a well put together album how each song flows into the next,.how some songs even explain what was going on in the song before it. A lot of thought was put in putting this album together & the results is the best album I heard in a long time.

Kendrick's album is weird , not really  even rap. Full of dumb singing and monotoned songs..Xzibit had some slappers on there , some real rap that we needed ..Xzibit all the way

Kendricks album is IMO without cliche or ego. It's something fresh and he does what he does very well. You might not like it coz it don't sound typical West. It's more like a new sound with old roots, but the roots are there. People are tripping sayin he copied Andre 3k style or flow but to me he just sounds a bit geeky (not brash on the mic). But he does come fierce on tracks when he needs to. And he's not spitting anything like Andre 3k lyrically.

It doesn't sound like bubblegum pop rap or something 'trending' but u still might not like it
