The inevitable has happened in which the Rays have started trading away their pitchers.
Personally I think the Rays got a steal since Shields' numbers aren't really great outside of 2011, and he was pitching in that crappy stadium that doesn't allow any offence and with one of the best defenses in baseball backing him. Plus they're getting the Royal's best prospect who the Royals really should've traded to someone who could offer them more than just 2 years of Shields.
