Yeah it's one of my favourite albums from the last decade, production is impeccable, "Been Through The Storm" 8).

They fucked up Bustas career though at Aftermath, once he signed he's never been the same.

This album was too good, was shorter than the usual Aftermath albums, they made the wrong songs singles imo. album was flawless except the Timbo track, 1st single should've been a Dre produced song (which he had lots of) just like every other album from Aftermath did. Could've made a big difference sales wise and than more Aftermath/Busta albums could happened after that  :-\

"Goldmine" was straight hypnotic. Love that track.

love this album and alot of its outtakes/mixtape songs (mostly quality).  im so suprised that this album doesnt get the proper notion and respect it deserves from all of these so called hip hop heads in their grumpy midlife crisis and these bloggers who still stay in their mother's basement.  you'd figure quality would get more respect than this (and it doesnt matter that it was on Aftermath and Dre had something to do with it, its that nice, that whole time before that too).

papoose was right, people really do hate on true lyricist.  its crazy when u think about it.  other than the horrendous "How We Do It Over Here" and the sap-cheesy "I Love My Bitch" there really werent any horrible or out of place songs on there, none [besides those two, out of 15+]

album sounds big as ever, its aftermath. i think my problem with it before was it was more of aftermath than a busta rhymes sounding album. expected dre to take busta's raw style to the next level, like some earlier joints. as it is he's rapping on a bunch of impeccably produced songs. great but had the potential to be better.

the only way it woulda been better is if he took off those two wack songs and replaced em with "carried the cross" (or whatever that other song with Nas & Dion is called that Kay Slay almost slayed) and some of those other bangin ass tracks.  Busta coulda 5 mic album imo if he wouldve took that route.  But it was a slightly different game back then, the mixtape game was still evolving heavily back then.  He was doing what everybody had to do back then

Definitely a very good album. Production wise and lyrical content  ;) If you have dr.dre on board, you know your production will be good. Look at eminem's relapse. For the fans. Let's analyze the album credits (see below). Dawaun Parker did his thing, Salute!
Here is an interview with Dawaun Parker with SkeeTv.

Whatsup with Mark Batson? Did he leave?

Whoever approved the Get Down (Produced By Timbaland & Nisan Stewart) song is insane. That shit is doesn't belong there.

Cocaina (Feat. Marsha Ambrosius Of Floetry) is my favorite song. I still play it to this day. Classic!

imo this is his best work.  the mixtape joints before that were on the same level too.  no disrespect but u learn from mistakes like what Iovine Dre did by not having the right confidence in putting out your work.  theres probably about 100 legit classics over in those vaults thru-out the years, atleast 50 of em

Touch It could've been a bigger single if they actually included they used the remix version for the single. Beat sounded so much better and DMX & Papoose killed it along with Busta.

"touch it" was pretty big but obviously everybody could do better than they do or what they do.  its the curse of Artists

They made videos for the remixes I think? I thought Pap would blow up after that, he killed it.
