I watched this recently, a must-see for everyone who thinks he's in too good of a mood. It's about how the plastic in our environment affects our bodies and the world as a whole.

Since the thing is pretty long (and partly in German) and some of us need to get in a bad mood rather quick, I searched and found these two 12-minute-extracts (with subtitles) which focus on the effects on the human body.
