The thing is, when I did Lakers/Celtics in 2010, it was crazy because Boston was so deep in the 60's and 80's, but LA has just consistently been good. Even in the 70's and 90's when they didn't make the Finals that much, they still had great players.

My only other complaint to NIKCC's list is that Mikan was a Laker in his prime, and Wilt was already declining in skill once he joined in LA. But Wilt was so good that you might still rank a fading Wilt over a primed Mikan. My personal Laker's line-up would look like this.

PG Magic Johnson
SG Kobe Bryant
SF Elgin Baylor
PF Bob McAdoo (serious, he had a season playing with Kareem and Magic were he scored 24ppg!)
C Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Bench
PG Gail Goodrich
SG Jerry West
G/F Jamaal Wilkes
SF James Worthy
PF Pau Gasol
C Wilt Chamberlain (I did it too, I put a fading Wilt over Mikan)
C Shaquille O'Neal

Your starting lineup for the Lakers had 18 combined titles in Laker unforms

Mine had 25 titles in Celtic uniforms

Boston win  8)
