Pujols started declining noticably in like 2010/2011...you can't be on top forever.  he was basically the best player in the NL from 2001-2009 except for a few seasons by Barroid and that one insane year by Adian Beltre for the Dodgers.  and from 2006-2009 he was the best player in the majors except for A-rod in 2007.  that '07 by A-rod was one of the top 5 all around seasons in MLB history (cheating or not).  sadly he was juiced off his ass lol
