I am definitely a spiritual person but I think about things like positive and negative energy much more than the idea of a single creator.

the #1 reason i believe in god is because what is the alternative? 


all things that exist in the universe just appeared out of nowhere?  makes little sense to me and i've been an avid astronomy fan for over a decade now.

Who said out of nowhere? I'm pretty sure that the scientific attempts to explain the existence of everything are a little more complex than that.

Plus that's irrelevant anyway, you know that "I can't explain it, so it must be god" is not the smartest approach, right?
