1st in the division means you are in the playoffs, meaning you can play for a chance to make the NBA finals. Seems big to me. Not that my favorite team puts up division banners. (23 since 1970, when the NBA first divided into divisions.)

Yep, he's worse than sterling.  And oh yeah, he's the same idiot who helped sabotaged the jets from getting their own stadium in manhattan.  But then again, I saw how it was gonna look....maybe its best that it wasn't created.  It looks worse than the metlife stadium seats.  Mostly charcoal & bits of light gray. 

And another funny thing.  The celtics murdered the bricks in MSG by 40+ points   I feel that the fans should boycott MSG till dolan is no longer running the team into the ground.  On a pro knick point of view.  It kinda worked for the dodgers with mc court.  Even though the dodgers did better with mc court than fox.  They reached the LCS 2 years in a row for the 1st time since the late 70's.

Or the whole Eastern Conference. They should just take the best 16 teams, no matter the Conference and seed them from there. Maybe have 4 divisions, no conferences and then the top 4 teams are the top 4 seeds, then the next 12 get to make the playoffs. Right now, only Utah and Shaqramento would not be in the playoffs in the East. That's crazy. Of the teams not in the playoffs in the West right now (will change later) Dallas and Minnesota are 3rd seeds, New Orleans, Memphis and the Lakers are 4th seeds. All of these teams should be in the playoffs if they start tomorrow. Have 4 divisions and the best 16 teams get in.

NFC & AFC North and AFC South are pretty junk. AFC West a few years ago the same. Divisions in Football have their issues.
