Necro - Rare Demo's and Freestyles vol 3

Necro's third installment of the Rare Demo's series includes some of his most iconic verses.  Particularly the legendary "Craig G freestyle diss" (over Royal Flush's "worldwide instrumental) which was part of track 4's verses on Stretch and Bobbito back in 1997.  Also included is the "DJ Riz Mixtape" freestyle which was online since the Napster days but never released properly.  One disappointment is the quality of the DJ Nighttrain freestyle.  It features Necro doing 6 or 7 amazing verses but for some reason the quality of the tape Necro has is horrible.  There's an mp3 around of the entire thing (talking and freestyles...Necro cuts out the talking on his CD's usually) in much better quality that was around way before this CD was released in late 2003.

Fresh Death and Wreck the Rectum are two dope old school songs that showcase how Necro was making dope beats at age 16.  Missing are features from his brothers crew Non Phixion for some reason.  Another thing I've noticed is this cd is far shorter than the previous two.

I give it a 7/10 and recommend to anyone who likes real hip hop.
