Bloods or Crips: which group has generated better rap music?

My vote is for the Bloods: DJ Quik, Suge Knight, 2Pac, Mausberg, 2nd II None, Messy Marv, plenty of others.

Crips have WC and Kurupt, and I'm a fan of their music, but the Bloods really got shit crackin in the rap game.

Pac just named five of the most prominent Blood leaders of the mid-90s. Pac shouted M.O.B. out throughout 1996. It's fair to say he was blood affiliated at least. Not saying he grew up in a blood hood (like me), just that he did rep the set.

Peep the wording of the title: which gang *generated* better rap music. Rapper or not, Suge's influence has been enormous. He brought a lot of Blood culture to rap music and repped the M.O.B. the hardest of pretty much anyone in rap music.

Snoop pretty much single-handedly won the championship for Crip...

...And I can explain exactly why.  Although I accept Pac being a blood as legit, Pac was Pac with or without him being a blood.  He already had an identity, character, hit records, etc. Before he really got affiliated with MOB/Suge/Bloods, etc.

Snoop on the other hand embodied Crip in everything he did.  It was Crippin that developed Snoops style and identity and pushed him to the top and Snoop returned the favor and repped Crip to the fullest, and same with most his homies in rap, Crippin was part of what made them great in rap and was inspiration for their style and music.
