Post-BTC Snoop I fux wit

Snoop Dogg - The City Is In Good Hands Mixtape
Snoop Dogg - Malice 'N Wonderland
Snoop Dogg - Doggumentary

Everything else, I find Snoop unlistenable on

I gave Malice a spin the other day and in retrospect its a decent pop/rap album, musically too. Foreal it was the beginning of the end for Snoop's rap career doe...

"malice" over "7 dayz" smh

It's a good album. A 6/10 I reviewed it track by track somewhere. But it sounds almost completely improvised over very basic beats. More like a demo tape than a finished project but I still liked it

7 Days Of Funk & Doggumentary were both great.
The Thats My Work Tapes were also pretty good.
Malice was weak, but had its gems (Secrets was crazy).

funk is not ur cup of tea then, will.....that's what it's supposed to sound like. improvised n straight from the soul, not contrived like snoop's attempt at a crossover pop record ala "malice". horrible

Naw fuc dat cuzzin. It was funk in name only. Compare real funk like James Brown, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, the JBs etc. this shit dont even go. But it was a 'nice' sincere sounding project I'm giving Snoop at least credit for that

So it's funk as good as it could be in this day and age + Snoop as good as he's prepared to be in this day and age...

Sounds great ::)
