Pusha T: My Name Is My Name still a strong solo debut IMO

Black C - 70s Baby reminds me the best scores from the blaxpolation era

Yelawolf - Love Story a bit different, but as strong as radioactive

Slaine: The King of Everything Else it was a warm up record for me before his show.

Spice 1: Let It Be Known finally get this cd and checkd the quality.

Nice to see that this topic still lives  8)

1/ Gang Starr - Step in the arena * Classic shit, I realised that Premo & Guru were really ahead of their time. Still sounds fresh today (released in 91)
2/ Bumpy Knuckles & DJ Premier - Kolexxxion * Didn't expect too much, and so it did not disappoint. In other words: Bumpy has been more furious on other projects & Premo's production was not mind blowing here
3/ Poor Righteous Teachers - Holly Intellect * Nice album, considered classic, which I agree upon
4/ Will Smith - Greatest Hits * Cruising in the car with my lady... Poppy rap of course. Some good songs (can't fuck with Summertime) & some garbage of course
5/ Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly * Maaaaaan, no matter how many people say it is a new classic, I don't really like it. The sounds, the raps, it's all a bit too awkward for me. Oh well, I did give it a try  :)

Tech N9ne - Special Effects (on Sccit's recommendation)

what u think

I thought it was really good. I have heard TechN9ne before, so it was exactly what I was expecting. I was shocked at how long it was, but it is one of the best albums out in 2015. I give it a solid 4 out of 5.

You know my favorite Tech album is Absolute Power... LOL... I love Tech ever since he was on 2Pac's track, Thugs Get Lonely 2. QDIII use to hook that man up with some beats. I was never a Tech head, like I know some of his fans are really deep into his stuff. But I had a roommate from KC, Missouri, and he was the one who got me really into Tech. I've lost track of him over the years, but man these music streaming services are amazing. I always use to depend on buying music, or trying to find illegal downloads. Now I can just check out albums and I binge listen to music like my wife binge watches TV shows on Netflix.
