If you are looking for a modern day 2pac, you might not find him if you are looking strictly within the realm of hip-hop.  But for those who know what's up in the Reggae world, Ja Cure is like a modern day 2pac.  The guy is musically gifted like 2pac was, makes music with his heart and soul, and it is like the spirit speaks through him in his art.  His songs are all real and very inspirational.  He is also not actually far from Pac's age or era, he was born in 1978, but spending 8 years in prison held his life and career back for several years.

Like Pac, he was falsely accused of rape, and so on.  If your curious and want to check this dude out to see what I'm talking about I recommend you check out "All By Myself" first because it features Pac on the song, and all the shit he is singing about is not just Pac's life but his own life which mirrors Pac's life in many ways.
