the saddest thing is he spent half his life making the Simpsons and will never get to see the final episode of the show. How weird is that?

Same with the late Marcia Wallace and Phil Hartmen, RIP to them.

they're 26 seasons deep + 1 movie

kinda running outta material but then again i can see them going to 30 seasons if they want to. the writing this last 2 years is actually awesome. not all time great like the Simpsons was seasons 1-10 but its still a top show laugh wise.

You got it twisted. Dude left the show after 4 seasons. But since he was a co-creator he kept getting paid every year up until his death. he was caking without even doing any work for 21 years.
