those are called cheerleaders, Elior.

the best mascot is the Suns gorilla who made fun of Oliver Miller for being 300 pounds. that was a funny skit.

the laker girls were originally a laker only thing........while every team had a mascot, lakers elected to go wit girls to cheer the team on instead. so laker girls were our mascot originally......then, every team followed suit. with boston bein the last to finally hop on board

cheerleaders are not mascots. they are cheer leaders.

mascots are dumb costumes with people in them.

this basically says the Lakers started nba cheer leaders, that has nothing to do with mascots.

we used cheerleaders as a replacement for a mascot at a time when cheerleaders in the nba was unheard of....thats why lakers dont have a mascot. because thats what them bitches is for.

To be fair, I can't picture the lakers having a mascot. It would probably look like a water creature like this laker shirt i've seen in the 90's. Man full of water-laker. Iceman-like but not frozen ice.
