according to this article + many previous reports.




while I think the Clippers will really miss him in the regular season they won't miss him in the playoffs for obvious reasons.  it was cringe-worthy watching him shoot a free throw in the playoffs which negated his rebounding ability.  Dallas??  guess he figured Dallas was close enough to Houston (his hometown) to make it worthy to leave L.A.

Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but a while back when the rumors of DeAndre vs. CP3 first arose and when Westbrook was pissed at Thunder management for not consulting with him in the coach hiring, a lot of people were saying the teams should do a CP3 vs. Westbrook swap. Thunder get the better point guard that would help Ibaka and Kanter turn into stars, Clippers get the younger point guard who can continue to grow with the team for a few more years. I bet Clips really wish they tried something like that now.

But real talk, the only person I feel bad for in this whole scenario is Blake Griffin.

When he got drafted, he never cared about the Clipper curse, he was just excited to be in the NBA and joins a fun-loving young core with DeAndre, Bledsoe, Aminu, and Gordon.

He deals with the Sterling vs. Baron drama which results in them trading a draft pick that ended up going #1 just to get rid of Baron. The fact that he had to deal with Sterling period is taxing enough.

They gut the young core for Chris Paul, which while making the team immediately better, is where people actually started to hate on the team to begin with. And then Doc Rivers joins the team and basically handicaps the team's future by trading away everything they have, and even attaching draft picks to those players. The only two players they had to show for it ultimately were J.J. Redick and Austin Rivers.

Through all the Clipper drama Griffin never said a word (other than the Vine video where he hilariously shits on Austin), and now his best friend DeAndre backstabs him because Chris Paul is a dick.

CP3 IS A BITCHBOY....HE TRIES REALLY HARD TO BE A KOBE TYPE WITH THE WAY HE TAKES LEAD, BUT HE AINT GOT THE HARDWARE TO BACK IT UP. DEANDRE WAS SMART TO GET OUT OF THAT CHOKE-ARTIST'S SHADDOW.
