If anyone is entitled to an opinion on this subject its RA The Rugged Man. Dudes been around since the early 90s and has worked with just about every dope mc there is since then. Even Biggie was quoted saying he thought he was the illest until he heard RA spit. The problem was for him that none of the major labels he was signed to back in the day would release any of his stuff because they thought it was way too hardcore for the mainstream and the shows he did back in the day were beyond crazy which had a lot to do with ruining his reputation with Jive and Capitol records. Not only is he an underground legend, hes one of the most knowledgeable dudes there is about hip hop.
