Does anyone use TiVo here? I was thinking about getting it, and I just wanna see everyone's opinions of it.

Tivo is an mpeg encoder and a hard drive with a modem which dials them to get programme listings. Nice bit of kit, main downside being you have to pay a monthly subscription for the programme information once you have one. Also sometimes it will record programmes they recommend for you, which is a bit duff IMHO.
Loads of peeps have messed about with them... running linux, increasing hard drive sizes etc.
