It's a cute way to spin it, but Vegas takes the totality of the teams playing. Not the individual.

The Lakers had no business losing that series. Being -800 in a Finals & losing is an astronomical failure. Blaming everyone but Kobe is ONCE AGAIN, hypocritical on your part, if you don't see how LeBron's teammates have failed him in numerous playoff games, let alone Finals.

shaq is an all-time great .. so is wade, and bosh was a top 5-10 player in his prime, so fall all the way back

the difference between 2004 and 2011 is simple .. 2004 was the entire laker team in shambles. from chemistry, to injuries, to legal issues .. everything that coulda went wrong did. in 2011, however, the blame is 100% on lebron, and even his biggest groupies attest to this.
