Would Nowitzki be elected as MVP if he was American, not German?

I assume it's undenyable he had better chances to win it if he wasn't German.
But would he even win it? Would he have chances as real as duncan, garnett or kobe? what do you think, homiez

he did great most ot the season and he's on fire in the first round of playoffs, too, no doubt

If he deserved it, I believe he would get it. Sports analysts who get votes are mostly 50 to 60 year old white men who love the infusion of overseas players, so I think they'd be inclined to vote for Dirk. He's top 5 IMO, but didn't deserve MVP. The Mavs are too stacked without him.

dork nowitziki is certainly one of the best players in the league, but he definitely doesn't deserve the mvp title. however, i agree that his nationality & skin colour prevent him from getting more attention and appreciation.

p/s nash is better. without nash the mavericks would be mediocre...

Hes a tight player actually, sumtimes u take for granted his size...cus he plays like a guard at times. But there aint too many in the league that can hold him. I think if u look at tha players in tha running for MVP tho, Garnett, Duncan, McGrady, Kobe....they basically carried their teams this year. Kobe has Shaq, but Shaq's been injured, and the role players for them aint been shit this year. Garnett has NOBODY. Duncan has a decent cast, the Spurs finished first which will help him. And McGrady is in the same boat as Garnett.

wow..^^^^ :o nice ASS...anyway...he has a couple of things against him...he's known as a poor defender and his scoring stats arent quite as high because he plays on such a deep team...though his defense is what will cost him mvp consideration in the future unless it improves
