Slick Rick Victimized By Identity Thief


It appears that Slick Rick has recently been the victim of Identity Theft, all while being held in jail over deportation matters.

Steven Glenn, a resident of North Carolina, has been posing as the rapper for quite some time now. He rerouted Rick's mail to the North Carolina address
sometime last year, and used FedEx to send packages to New York, billing Rick's Production company. Over the past year, he has signed for various things, opened accounts, and attempted to rent an apartment. Many of Rick's royalty Checks were deposited into Glenn's account in North Carolina. Glenn even went so far as to call Rick's wife and ask for money for recording expenses for a new album, posing as Rick. Glenn was arrested and charged with six counts of fraud!
