Menendez Brother Helped Spring Famous Rapper X-Raided From Prison By Penning Supportive Letter to Parole Board

A Northern California rapper who spent 26 years behind bars for murder is a changed man after being released, and in an incredible turn of events, says Lyle and Erik Menendez were part of an effort to help him see the light and help get him out of lock up.
X-Raided, aka Anerae Brown, was sentenced to 31 years to life for the murder that was committed during a home raid while he was a member of the Crips street gang. X-Raided served his sentence at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, CA. X-Raided famously rapped from prison on tracks with fellow Northern California rapper Brotha Lynch Hung.
While serving time, he developed a relationship with the Menendez brothers, and they helped mentor X-Raided while he worked on his rehabilitation. In fact, Erik Menendez wrote a letter of support for X-Raided in 2015, in hopes of scoring him an early release from prison. The Blast has obtained a copy of the letter, see below.
In the letter, Menendez claimed X-Raided is a “model of redemption and personal growth,” while letting go of the mistakes of his past. Menendez also claimed the rapper was a “model of redemption and personal growth.”
The letter apparently had an impact, and a couple years later X-Raided was released on parole in September 2018. These days, we’re told X-Raided is back performing in the Sacramento, and will soon go on tour. The rapper is also spreading the word on his own personal growth while promoting the possibility of redemption for prison inmates. X’s manager Tiffany Gaines is working with the rapper on programs for transformation programs of inmates behind bars in hopes of promoting redemption for those having committed acts of crime. They are asking the public and fans who want to lend a hand to email here:

The Menendez brothers continue to serve life sentences in prison for the 1989 murder of their parents.
