Interesting that they went this route. Did not get that vibe at all from 2001 except for the unreleased "Throne Is Mine" Royce leak, which is still something I listen to constantly. Beat would have been A1 mastered to release quality, and I think Dre's delivery back then would have matched perfectly to Royce's writing. I wonder if that "royal" theme was the original 2001 vision and that's why Dre chose this for the anniversary?

It is cool to see all of the ads in the playoffs hyping the Superbowl Halftime.  Dre would be crazy to waste all of the free promotion.
